| 英文描述 | This is a disease of unknown etiology in giant breed dogs. Retained enchondral cartilage cores in the ulnar metaphysis may be associated with valgus deform- ity, external rotation, or anterior bowing. In the hindlimb, may see medial bowing of the femur, and lateral patellar luxation. May be due to decreased vascularity of ulnar metaphysis and lateral femoral condyles causing improper mineralization and bone growth. Dx by breed, signs, radiology, histology. |
